Horse owners with horse problems have help coming to their rescue. National Reining Horse Association Reserve World Champion and one of today’s most in-demand equine clinicians, Warwick Schiller, is holding a horse clinic, September 28-29, 2013 at the Rusty Spur Ranch in Ione, CA.

“Warwick’s ability to solve horse problems is a skill that only the world’s finest horsemen possess, but his unique gift lies in his ability to explain the how, why and when of what he does with the horses. ‘Making the Wrong Thing Hard and the Right Thing Easy,’ is Schiller’s easy to understand no-nonsense philosophy. We are very lucky to have someone of Warwick Schiller’s caliber coming to our area to help,” said Shell Brodnax, the clinics coordinator.

Occasionally, horse owners experience issues in training their horses such as being anxious, going too fast, going too slow, flighty, won’t leave other horses, won’t stand still, hard to bridle, backing up issues, trouble with trailer loading, not picking up a certain lead or just plain old spooking. Whether you are a seasoned rider or a beginner, if your horse is young or has some miles, this is the clinic you don’t want to miss.

Clinic fees are very affordable at only $150.00 per day, per rider, for one horse and only $25.00, per day, to audit per person. Space is limited and advance sign-up is required. Warwick Schiller clinics are also scheduled in New Mexico, Florida, Santa Cruz, CA and West Virginia in September and October.

For more information, call the local clinic coordinator, Shell Brodnax at 209-623-5809. You can also visit Warwick’s website at www.WarwickSchiller.com . You can download the flyer and registration forms on both sites.

More about Warwick Schiller

Warwick SchillerSomewhere along the way of learning to train reining horses, Warwick came to understand a thought process; a way of dealing with horses that crossed all boundaries of breed or discipline. This thought process involves a high level of understanding the nature of horses, something that doesn’t need to be taught to them, as it is something they already understand.

What makes Warwick a truly outstanding clinician is his unique ability to bridge the gap from the ideals of natural horsemanship to the demands of real world performance. Relating those principals of training clearly to clinic attendees of varied goals, thought lines and disciplines is a priority to him, and he is known to do it well.

As an experienced and highly successful competitor and trainer on both national and world levels, his perspective allows him an edge to those who teach from a philosophical background alone. Clinic attendees are amazed by his holistic approach to the complete education of a horse and how deeply effective it is; even in its innate simplicity.

Fully at ease even in front of even the largest of audiences, (he has been the in-arena commentator to sold out crowds in Way Of The Horse at Equitana in Australia repeatedly) Warwick has rightfully developed a reputation for his impressive ability to demonstrate training concepts in a way that people can understand and utilize even after they have returned home. His good-natured antics and continual engagement of those attending keep interest and energy levels fresh, as he inspires, educates and builds communication between horse and rider.

Warwick has trained and shown horses and coached riders to National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) World Champion and Reserve World Champion titles, as well as Champion and Reserve Champion wins at all of the major reining shows across the United States. These prestigious shows include the NRHA Futurity show, NRHA Derby show, National Reining Breeders Classic (NRBC), All American Quarter Horse Congress, Firecracker Classic, Texas Classic, West Coast Spectacular, Reining by the Bay, Hollywood Charity Reining and the California Reining Challenge.
Warwick is an NRHAContinental Judge.
